Sailing Saugatuck is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Sailor to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll play a key role in delivering memorable sailing experiences on Lake Michigan. • Assist the Captain in the safe operation of the vessel during day and sunset cruises.
• Ensure all safety equipment is accessible and in good working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, answering questions and enhancing their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the ship's decks and common areas.
• Help with boarding and disembarking passengers, ensuring a smooth process.
• Respond to guest needs and assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
• Comfortable working on the water and in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company standards.

• Previous experience working on a passenger vessel or in a hospitality role.
• Familiarity with sailing operations or maritime terminology.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• A passion for sailing and sharing that enthusiasm with others.
